Too much love for Mexico

You will be surprised of how much this woman knows and loves her country. Her lover takes the reader to see the most amazing spots in earth and to try the most exotic dishes ever and all of it without leaving Mexico. The fancy part of the narrative is that she drags you everywhere with unimaginable sensuality...
My very good friend is very good friend with the writer and told me that Sara lives in a flat with her kids and she her husband and his kids are her neighbors.
This year a MOVIE based on this book came out. I loved it but I was biased by having read the book.

Una historia conmovedora

Recomiendo la lectura de esta novela. La descripci�n de las distintas regiones de M�xico que hace la autora, convierten a ese pa�s en un destino obligado para los lectores de la obra. Desde el paisaje hasta la gastronom�a resultan una constante tentaci�n a lo largo de la lectura. A�n cuando el paisaje, consono y c�mplice con las circunstancias del personaje principal, se torna triste y decadente, no deja ser atractivo. La historia narrada es tristemente ingeniosa. Pero la narraci�n tan detallada y la estructura de la novela, en la que el lector sabe que se encontrar� con un cap�tulo narrado en forma de carta y luego vendr� otro en el que esencialmente se describir� alguna zona de M�xico, y as� sucesivamente se seguir�n alternando, resulta mon�tono; particularmente la enumeraci�n de lo que el personaje principal encontraba en su recorrido a lo largo del pa�s resulta un tanto agobiante.

Deberia de ser un titulo alterno para esta novela, no cabe duda que la autora se sabe de pies a cabeza nuestro Mexico, desde la situacion geografica, clima, comida, artesania, costumbres, razas indigenas, autores literarios, pintores, escrultores, TODO!
Mas aparte narrado por medio de una mujer enamorada que recorre estos preciosos lugares en compa�ia de el hombre que la hace sentir diferente desde el primer momento que se vieron. Y por si fuera poco, la doble vida que lleva la protagonista con el firme proposito de juntar dinero para llevar a cabo un sueno junto con su hermano,
fabulosa!
