He lost everything to a human serial killer and now Joseph Bennett’s only thoughts are of revenge and death until she appears in the dead of night and changes everything in this riveting paranormal romance.

Paige Williams has remained silent about her brother’s crimes for years but she can’t keep her secrets any longer and the reader can’t help but get pulled into the story as Paige and Joseph decide to take action – one from which they’ll either emerge whole…or dead. The chemistry is a smoldering inferno of heat but this relationship is slow burning because of personal demons and emotional distress and these strong, compelling characters draw readers in and capture their hearts while they finally begin to hope for more while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot captivates readers with lots of suspense, turmoil and romance.

Pulse-pounding tension builds throughout the story as Paige takes potentially deadly risks to right her past while Joseph tries put off his revenge to help her while the excitement builds as the danger escalates and the killer begins to stalk them with some unexpected twists and the council adding additional spicy tension. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to life while the intriguing events keep readers glued to the pages.

I have to tell you that other than the first book in this series, I haven’t read any of the other previous stories but it didn’t stop me from enjoying this one although it does have the spoilers for book two, it also wetted my appetite for more and since this story also brought to my attention quite a bit of change from that first book, I will be revisiting my thoughts on this series as I go back and read what I have missed while waiting for book seven.

I have to tell you that other than the first book in this series, I haven’t read any of the other previous stories but it didn’t stop me from enjoying this one although it does have the spoilers for book two, it also wetted my appetite for more and since this story also brought to my attention quite a bit of change from that first book, I will be revisiting my thoughts on this series as I go back and read what I have missed while waiting for book seven.

The most rapid progress presently being made in the field of gene isolation concerns the partial sequencing of cDNA clones from one or both ends to produce expressed sequence tags (ESTs). Indeed, by Octo ber 1995, the EST division of Genbank (dbEST) contained a total of approxi mately 270,000 human EST sequences accounting for almost half the number of sequence entries in Genbank.

Not my kind of erotic romance

I've already read a few other Evangeline Anderson books, so when I started this one I knew a few things about the style of story she writes.

First, the characters are fleshed out and real. She doesn't just tell the reader the hero is alpha and dangerous, she shows you.

Second, the love scenes are hot, I mean like a summer in Arizona and they are frequent. It's a small complaint, but I don't need that many love scenes to get that the hero and heroine are into each other, so I skim.

So, anyway, I didn't go into this book expecting Barbara Cartland or Debbie Macomber's style of closed door love scenes.

But with that in mind, there were a few love scenes that made me cringe. When I say cringe, I really mean that I set down the bowlful of corn flakes with sliced bananas I was eating and gagged just a little bit (no puking though, thank goodness). My gagging was so loud that my husband looked at me with a frown and I couldn't tell him what was the matter with me, because he would tease me about it endlessly.

This book passed my naughty threshhold and sailed into kink land. Everyone has a kink land, some are bigger than others and everyone's is different. Mine has things like same-sex love scenes, footplay, copious amounts of bodily fluids and scented oils (I hate fragrances, so maybe it isn't so much a no no as a personal peccadillo when I put scented oils into my no no kinky land?).

Anyways, this book had bodily fluids, a lot of them, it was drenched in them, sodden, soaked, mushy, sopping, submerged and every other word you can think of that means, wet. So, if this is an erotic direction you can embrace, then this is the book for you.

Me, I had to reread The Hobbit until I calmed down.

Well done reluctant story

I enjoyed this story, I would say it's a twist on Beauty and the Beast. Lynx is a likeable beast, and Charlie has to set up a 'payment' but in this case to save her brother Will. I recommend it if you like reluctant stories with sort of ambiguous consent. Do stay away if you're sensitive to the topic. There were some typos in the ebook, but nothing that will stop you from understanding the story.

Ok Story but not worth the money I paid for it

I was reluctant to purchase this book, some instinct told me not to. The only reason I did was that I love most of Mrs. Anderson's other books and the concept seemed unique. It was unique but I just couldn't connect with the characters or the way the hero "needed" her. I am sure others will find this book enjoyable, I'm just not one of them. Will still look forward to her books though.

Great resource book and help for natural healing

This work is intended to�provide a concise introduction to the spectral theory of Hilbert space operators. With an emphasis on detailed proofs and�recent aspects of theory, it�can serve as�a modern textbook for a first graduate course in the subject.�The coverage of topics is thorough, exploring various intricate points and hidden features often left untreated.

The book begins with a primer on Hilbert space theory, summarizing the basics required for the remainder of the book and establishing unified notation and terminology.�After this, standard spectral results for (bounded linear) operators on Banach and Hilbert spaces, including the classical partition of the spectrum and spectral properties for specific classes of operators, are discussed. A study of the spectral theorem for normal operators follows, covering both the compact and the general case, and proving both versions of the theorem in full detail. This leads into an investigation�of functional calculus for normal operators and Riesz functional calculus, which in turn is followed by Fredholm theory and compact perturbations of the spectrum, where a finer analysis of the spectrum is worked out. Here, further partitions involving the essential spectrum, including the Weyl and Browder spectra,�are introduced.�The final�section of the book�deals with�Weyl's and Browder's theorems and�provides a look at�very recent results.�

About the Author

Carlos Kubrusly was born in Rio de Janeiro in November 1947. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Warwick in 1976, held postdoctoral visiting research positions at the Universities of Warwick and Bonn, and has been a faculty member of Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro since 1972, where he became a full professor in 1988. Professor Kubrusly has published over 100 scientific articles in international journals and proceedings of international conferences. He has participated in�approximately 40�scientific conferences, all with paper presentation, including plenary sections at the Toulouse IFAC Symposium in 1982 and at the Newport Beach SOTA Conference in 1998, and has also been a member of program committees of several international conferences.

Professor Kubrusly�was the editor-in-chief of the journal Computational and Applied Mathematics (published by Birkh�user from 1992 to 1998), and coeditor of the book Semigroups of Operators: Theory and Applications (Optimization Software, Los Angeles, 2002). He is the author of five books: "An Introduction to Models and Decompositions in Operator Theory", "Elements of Operator Theory", and "Hilbert Space Operators", all published by Birkh�user in 1997, 2001, and 2003, respectively; "Measure Theory" by Academic Press in 2007; and recently, "The Elements of Operator Theory" (2nd enlarged and updated edition of "Elements of Operator Theory") published by Birkh�user in 2011.

A great book about Spectral Theory

This book mainly concern is to investigate the spectrum of operators (i.e., continuous linear transformations) on Hilbert Spaces. Unbounded operators and results on Banach space are not the focus here. It introduces classical topics such as C*-Algebra, Functional Calculus and Fredholm Theory. Futhermore, Kubrusly made a brilliant exposition of the Spectral Theorem, one the cornerstone theorems on Operator Theory on Hilbert Spaces.

Robert Chu has been involved in martial arts since 1972, and is a practitioner of the Yip Man, Gu Lao, Yuen Kay-San Wing Chun styles. Mr. Chu's articles have appeared in Martial Arts Legends, Inside Kung-Fu, Wing Chun Viewpoint, and Wing Chun Today. His monthly column appears in Martial Arts Illustrated. Mr. Chu resides in California

Rene Ritchie has been studying Yuen Kay-San style of Wing Chun since 1990. His articles have appeared in Martial Arts Masters, and Wing Chun Today. He created and maintains the www.wingchunkuen.com website from his home in Eastern Canada.

Y. Wu has been involved in Wing Chun since 1984. He is a practitioner of the Nanyang and Yip Man Wing Chun styles. Mr. Wu is the author or The Nanyang Wing Chun Primer Vol. 1, and resides in Singapore.

I think that this is one of the better Wing Chun books on the market

Purchased this Wing Chun Book with others and I think that this is one of the better books on the market. As other reviewer's have stated the title "complete" is not necessarily accurate but it does provided a good summary on some of the lesser known Wing Chun styles/lineages. I have been taking Wing Chun approximately six months and found this book helpful in providing knowledge of the history and background in the martial art. The pictures and terminologies were also a bonus.

An excellent introductory to styles outside of the Yip Man lineage

Sifu Chu really done a credit to himself to showcase the many branches of Wing Chun. Grandmaster Yip Man's lineage is of course heavily showcased but the book also contains much information on other major and rare styles outside of Yip Man. Yuen Kay-san, Gu-Lao, Pan-nam etc, to name a few. Many of these systems contain different elements in history, curriculum, weaponry, training and even techniques but at the core of it they are all Wing Chun. Although not all systems are fully showcased or mentioned but this is a must-read for any WC practitioner.
