Manual or Book??

It covers a lot of topics, but feels more like a procedure manual. It seems to have been printed on the cheap; so the combo of cheap paper, light ink, and poorly selected images make the images nearly worthless, if not distracting. All that said, it is a big book that has some value as a reference.

Excellent Compilation For Beginners

Covers a lot of topics but nothing in depth. A great overview book for beginners with Android Studio 2.3 to get you started. Knowledge is not cheap - if you expect to just copy-and-paste the sample codes into you own App to make it work, you may be greatly disappointed. Ultimately you will have to study by other means as well to complete the training.
